    You gotta give magnets a while when they're new. Sometimes they take upwards of an hour to start, but then they seem to go fine once the hash is propagated.

    You could also try adding some trackers... that usually helps with propagation as well.
    There's a list in the magnet thread you can copy/paste into your torrent properties
