Actually you can now make a en-US/localized ISO identical to MSDN/OEM images, just follow the MS instructions to OEM's, i.e. integrate the update MSU's, system-prep, add win8.1 LP, then add LP-patch.
I don't fully understand the Single Language versions: 1. For example, is it basically the same as: Windows 8.1 with Update (multiple editions) (x64) - DVD (English) except it only has the English resources in it? How is the single language different than retail? Smaller install? Are a lot of the fonts automatically removed when it is installed? 2. Does it have the same kind of compatibility? I remember reading that Office 2010 didn't work properly when people removed the Japanese language fonts from their system even though they only used everything in English. So are there any known problems like that with the single language versions? 3. ***** Will these work with Retail keys? ***** Maybe I just don't understand why Single Language version is made.
I have made the ProWMC ISO's with @abbodi's original MS ProWMC ESD's, please note that: - Only Baidu download available, links added to pastebin. - To retain the "originality", ,Net3.5 was not enabled, and only with the original MS dat files(additional data/tokens.dat included in package so you could activate your copy). - However, EI.cfg added to sources folder to by-pass entering key. - Only en-US available, you would need to install language pack and language pack updates to change language edition.
I don´t have any problems with Jdownloader. All files are downloaded completely and without error. Try using Jdownloader 2.
If you have a OEM machine, and wish to install the same win8/8.1 edition on another machine and activate? In the OEM machine, CMD(Admin)-> enter: Code: powershell "(Get-WmiObject -query ‘select * from SoftwareLicensingService’).OA3xOriginalProductKey" Enter the key in the new machine, activate (slui4 or whatever), make a phone call. LOL Update: Neowin told me straight that this is piracy, but I got the script and the method from MS people, he told me there are grey areas, and these are total legit procedures provided by MS, as long as you keep "1 key 1 machine", it'll be fine. I am not a lawyer, so ..... just couldn't care less.
