no probs it just links people to the right places I wish I would have had one but I have another question WHS setup creates a 20GB partition for its system files and the rest of the drive for storage is it possible to change this and have say A 30GB SSD for system files and 1 TB HDD's for storage
Not at setup, but you could then use ie Ghost to re-design your layout But to use SDD for system would be a total waste of the SDD (system drive does very little) sebus
my SSD idea was just for silence to be honest. so i could delete the DATA partition and extend the sys one so I have one big drive without causing problems ? have you seen this done ?
NO, you can make image of sys & restore it on a bigger drive (and the same with data) But whatever you do, do NOT delete the data partition, will be difficult to get it back sebus
