I used Nero v9 and burned an ISO image at 4X for both 32 Bit and 64 Bit and Server 2008 R2 - All RTM

ImgBurn. I have about 3 Nero CD's laying around because they come with every optical drive, but Nero is too bloated. ImgBurn is nice and small and does what it is designed to do well.

i also have Optiarc units. but i dont like them as much as my other drives.
seems to me that NEC & OPTIARC & PIO drives always die fast
but again i do burn lots of media.

i tested tons of burners. the funny thing is my nec's and pio's died within 4 months of use. so i walk across the street one day and buy a MADDOG rebagged LG drive for $20 and guess what that s**t lasted over 1 year already with out a problem.
my A62 just came with a optiarc drive and i was like ok let me test this s**t out. not even 2+ months of getting the pc the burner started to act up i ended up doing the same thing as last time and get a $20 drive from across the street lol
now i have this gateway laptop that i just got for free and it has a optiarc in it you think i will be BURNING anything in that you are crazy lol its not getting any use besides windows install.

also SCREW BURNER DVD & WASTING THEM get a DVD-RW or DVD+RW Verbatim 8x s**t is crazy fast

    I use:
Infra Recorder / ImgBurn = free , and works for almost anything i need to burn.
Exact Audio Copy = free and i use it for properly burning music cds.

i used nero 6 before and was ok for everything but the later versions are just
    packed with garbage imo.

I actually use ImgBurn for all my movies. I haven't tried it in 7 yet but I burn all my music with EAC, and I use Nero 7 lite for backing up programs and all my wifes pictures. I guess I will have to try Eac in Windows7 but I don't see any reson that it wouldn't work.
