I don't see what the big deal is about the new UI. It took some getting used to but I like it better than the old start menu. I was fixing a computer for a friend with Windows 7 and realized how much I like the new Windows 8 and 10 UI so much better. Learning the keyboard hotkeys makes life a lot easier. This reminds me of when I worked in a large hospital pharmacy and they would update their system for order entry, patient charging, etc. The day the update took place was a total nightmare because of all the whining most of the employees did. I would hear, why did they do this, this stupid, I can't believe they changed the system, now how am I going to get my work done. Most of the whining went away after a few weeks of learning the new system. Of course there were those few employees that never liked the change and were never happy.
Classic shell 4.2.1 just installed, and replacing a non-working 10074 Start Menu. Even shows the Metro tools which is handy. Life is Good.
