Best Utilities for Windows 8 Pro 64 bits

    Hi Friends:

    I'm testing the following Utilities on Windows 8 Pro 64 bits:

    - CCleaner v3.22.1800 (Free) works great as Cleaner & Registry
    - Windows 8 Manager 0.3.0 (Beta), looks good
    - O&O Defrag Professional 15.8 Build 801 x64 (paid), it's totally compatible with Windows 8 and it's working great

    Thanks for share your experiences & recommendations

    Good to know that about O&O because I have Raxco Perfect Disk and Windows 8 refused to allow it to install even in compatibility mode.

    - PC Tools Registry Mechanic 11.1.0.214 (paid), excellent for Clean
    - O&O Defrag Professional 15.8 Build 801 x64 (paid), it's totally compatible with Windows 8 and it's working great

    I use slimcleaner by slimutilities. It cleans registry and a nice defragger built in.

    Ill tell you why I think they harm more than fix ,because the windows s kernel is closed to other ,so the tools are just the result of their self researches !

    how install slimcleaner ???? it show me always problem with compatibility and cant run setup :(

    Tuneup Utilities 2013 is one of the best softwares for Windows 8. It helps clean your system from junks etc. Although it is not free, but patch is easily available via torrent. Get it from- tune-up.com

    I Have been using Auslogics BootSpeed (it supports win8 now)For its registry cleaner and junk files cleaner with josh cell's UnCleaner
    And windows 8's own disc Defrag utility

    Haven't had any issues yet :biggrin:
