I'm currently struggling to integrate updates into custom WES7 ISOs generated by the Image Configuration Editor. The default method of adding updates creates a gigantic ISO file and also fails (Out of memory error or an error related to Internet Explorer 11). When I try integrating the updates directly into install.wim, after the installer reboots for the first time, it starts boot looping. I can't use audit mode or install the updates post-install that since these are highly customized images designed to run on embedded devices that do not have much disk space and are low powered devices that don't have great performance. Can these updates be integrated directly into the distribution share? Is there a better method?
