    Hi All,

I've been reading a few guides about Gigabyte (Award) BIOS modding , seems more complex than others like AMI. Is there any tools i've overlooked which simplifies this process?

    Many thanks,
    Spike.

ISA still works on some Gigabyte bioses. But with a lot of the newer ones you can't enter setup with the ISA. (But it usually doesn't hurt to try it. You can still flash original bios.) OEM mods usually work OK but sometimes they'll interfere with Dynamic Energy Saving (DES) and possibly other advanced features. SSV3 mods don''t have any drawbacks that I know of so that's what I usually do. I posted a SSV3 guide here: http://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/53170
