I have a legit key for Office 2013, I installed it on a new Windows 8.1 installation, but I'm having too many issues with Windows 8.1 and want to go back to Windows 7 for a while, what is the best way of reactivating?

I haven't found a solid answer for this, I'm aware that I can probably call up and reactivate through MS, but I'd rather avoid that if possible.

Most of the re-activators group the windows 8 and office 2013 activations, so I'm concerned they won't work when I try to reactivate only Office 2013 on Windows 7.

    Thanks.

MS grouped Win8 and Office into one. There is no way to separate them I don't think. Your best bet since you do have a "legit" key is to simply call and be done with it. Much easier and cleaner than trying to drag and drop, edit and change files from one system to another anyway.

Yeah, unfortunately that's what I thought, I was just trying to save myself some time on hold. Windows 8.1 has me short on patience with MS.

    Thanks.
