Yes. You can do what you want on your own machine but if you're like me and perform contracting work for small companies and other individuals then you have to consider other issues: # You can be sued by that company for installing cracked copies of Windows. # Installing cracks that modify files or make other changes can create security issues, you don't want to be held liable for their losses if they get hacked. Considering the changes to Professional; I know some places that will now want Enterprise and finding somewhere to get legit copies is always good to know for those people that want that option and don't want to sign-up for a subscription or other contracts
It looks like the "genuine" part numbers are KV3-00262 (Enterprise) and KW4-00033 (Enterprise LTSB) (upgrade licenses, so you still need a genuine OS). But I'm really no licensing expert, no idea how I'd actually go about purchasing VL. Probably easier to go for the new subscription model.
I'm sorry, are you sure, but then again, you can if you wish, lol, jk, go first and let us know if it's cool
Who knows how the site functions or deals with customer complaints, to them or to PayPal. That's why it seems dodgy to me.
Yea, If they can Catfish one person out of 10,000 calls, they just made a Years wages where they live. Worse are the Craigslist's and Louisiana Sportsman's classified ads 90% of what's for sale is a Scam. Easy to tell by the email addresses and internet voip phone numbers, but most people are too stupid or greedy to check
I doubt it is still trending because the whole world is quite aware of the prince-scam thing from Nigeria. However, the worse though are those claiming to be selling pharmaceutical products like Viagra mostly from developed nations. They usually litter my inbox with scam pages.
Just curious - are you actually from Nigeria? Yes most people are aware by now but there are always the gullible ones who are greedy yet not the brightest bulbs in the bunch as we all know.
Yes, I am. The gullibility you are talking about is no longer on the prince-scam thing. In fact, all mail providers will quickly flag it as scam. This discussion is beginning to derail the thread though.
True, so last post from me on this subject. I have seen 419-type spam still getting through to the Inbox in Yahoo mail, but since it's Yahoo perhaps that's not so surprising. And yes, there are actually people who're still gullible enough to fall for these types of scams, believe it or not. It's a simple question of economics really - if they were getting no responses at all to make it worth their while, why would the scammers still continue to send such mails? There truly is a sucker born every minute, and as Bat rightly said even if one falls into their trap it makes them a massive profit given their low investment.
