Sounds like a successor to MDT, I used it like that about 10 years ago in a 1k workstations company. Actually, FriendsOfMDT on github has interesting project, PowerShell Deployment Extension Kit. Cant post link here, even though I am here registered since 2011, hah!
I’ve also heard people compare my project to MDT, Intune, FOG project, or SCCM, but honestly, I’ve never even had the chance to work with those platforms myself due to the nature of my job. After looking into them a bit, I realized they all originated from some of the biggest tech companies in the world. Maybe that’s actually a good sign for my project... haha
