Asus and Gigabyte boards update bios frequently like every 2 months. Used to update Asus bios online until it was dead ( just i go to bios at bootup and click check for updates and everything goes automatically). I never installed 3rd party bios mods. I got 7 hours backup UPS for house and 10 minutes backup UPS for computer so there is no chance to do mistake. Only frequent updates killed bios imo.
I learned through hard experience that bios updates not needed at all now. :) New Gigatebyte AB350M is running better than Asus board i guess. Cpu fan control is silent unlike Asus. And also i found that sound output is better than Asus though both having same Realtek ALC887 chipset. A friend gave an idea of making another pc becoz i got spare mobo now. I even got a spare monitor (used for 3 years), a spare UPS, spare speakers and spare hdd. Since i got 24 Gb ram now in this pc, i can remove 8 Gb ram from it to make a new pc. Only things needed are a new cpu, a cpu-case with power and a keyboard-mouse combo. I am thinking whether i need to spend for another pc or not.
