Maybe you should just try replacing the bios with the old one with the usb flash programmer. I dont think it matters if they have different sizes. if you need any help with that I can gladly help
well I normally mod bioses on virtual machines so I dont really know what its like with bare metal. But if youre erasing the old with the new one thats meant for that size I dont really see a problem However I havent modded on bare metal. Wouldnt it be like getting the bios rom erasing all of it and copy and pasting the new code on it. Normally it would work on a vm however I dont know if it would on bare metal.
Im so sorry but youre grammers kind of hard to read can you elaborate a little more. Also I dont think I need to show a video Edit: If your asking about the rom then you just back it up and open hxd and edit the epprom next delete everything. Then copy the code from the bios you want to use to the epprom with hxd and your done
I know... I'm French and don't speak the language, sorry. I said that I already had a complete dump of the chipset, if I ever have a problem, I could always write this file to recover the machine, right?
Ok thank you very much for your understanding and your kindness. So there, to be clear and summarize: I have to erase the chipset, write the original ROM file from Acer and that's it? If it doesn't work, I re-write the original dump and it's good? Did I understand everything correctly? Thanks again
Im sorry for that I normally mod on hxd because I dont use bare metal. Im only now realizing that you need something like neoprogrammer to do it on a acutal chip. Thank you so much for being so paitent and I wish you the best of luck.
Result: it doesn't work at all. The PC no longer starts at all by just doing a re-write. I think i have to create a complete 8Mb file with the elements in the right place for it to work. Unfortunately I don't know how to do that... Thanks for your time
Great job The PC works perfectly! He reinstalled the drivers on startup etc and obviously, even if I disconnect electrically and reconnect behind, it starts fine without boot error. Thank you so much ! If I have to pay something, let me know. Thank you so much.
