Hello My issue : I installed 1GB+ 512MB memory modules on my toshiba laptop L20-181, but the BIOS and windows xp see only 1GB. All info applications (CPU-Z,etc) see the memory correct as 2 slots=1,5GB. The laptop supports max 2GB. I have the latest official bios. Do you know an app to edit the the max supported memory ? Also do you know a way to also edit the max shared video memory? I ran RW Utility and there I can see a 'Maximum Capacity0x00100000 - 1048576KB, 1024MB' limit field, but I can not edit the info. Thank you.
