BIOS mod to prevent IP/DNS leak during BIOS setting changes?

    I'd like prevent my motherboard's BIOS/UEFI from leaking my IP/DNS address when I adjust its BIOS/UEFI settings. There are no settings for that in BIOS... I do need to connect to the same manufacturer IP address from within Windows, so blocking that IP address in my router is not a good solution.

    Your switch/router assigns everything. The only options you have in your bios/uefi is enable/disable your lan (and possible enable/disable lan rom).
    Your safer in your bios/uefi than in windows...
