I have an Asus m50sv with an AMI bios v207. There are no updates available and this computer was recently discontinued for its updated model the m50vm. I don' like the bios on this computer as there are very very limited options on it, no battery calibration, fan control is locked etc. I guess this is typical of an OEM bios but I was wondering would it be possible to mod this bios and unlock fan control. If it is possible I will post in the request sticky I just didn't know if this was the kind of think a bios mod could achieve so I did not want to waste anyones' time. Thanks!
