The BIOS vendor tools don’t usually work on Laptops from the major manufacturers like Lenovo. You need to use the tool from whichever ODM manufactured the laptop for them.
I've come across some BIOS files which have most likely been modded with a SLIC, but no real clue as to what SLIC they were modded with. Is there a tool that can I can feed a BIOS file to and examine if there's a SLIC and if so, which one? Ta. H.
Hey bro I manage to change the infos using LVARS (Lenovo Variable Tool v2.26) but first I did a bios downgrade to version 49 (I was using 57 version), now the infos are correctly identifying by the Lenovo vantage and any software that reads the SMBIOS information like Hardware info.. The next question is: Is ther a newer version of this tools? I've search in this forum and in the internet and didn't find it... To Answer your question, mine is a Legion 7 (RTX3080 an R9 5900HX)
