    Looking for the latest AFUWIN that supports /GAN and doesnt cause Security Rom Fail issue. That would be super helpful.

    Use Lenovo Golden Key U1 Tool, last version is 3.5.60 have lvar249.

    check on Asus website the support page of your mainboard, usually in you can find the ME update only in BIOS tool sections.
    Apply it

    This is not the fault of the tool incorrect operation - the BIOS on Gen 8 mobo is so done that it allows you to change some DMI values only once. Before changing DMI, UEFI WriteOnceStatus variable is 7F 7F ... and after a change DMI changes to 01 04 01 00 7F 7F ...
    To edit DMI again, just change the value back to 7F 7F ...

    does anyone know what software can edit gigabyte bios?

    I need to edit UUID and MAC address

    I tried with FD44Editor 0.9.2 but when I opened the bios file I got an error parsing BIOS data.
    SBOOTEFIS signature not found.
    Please open correct ASUS BIOS

    is there a universal tool that can edit uuid and mac bios for gigabyte? thanks
