Hello, i have here a notebook from a freind of mine. Its a Aceer 5630 EZ , as far as i can tell it is an Phoenix Bios. Its called Phoenix secure Core in teh Bios Menu , so i asume it is. IS there any Way to mod this Acer Bios with an LSIC 2.1 , i have lokked through the Sticky threads , and the refer to Dell-Phoenix , or HP-Phoenix. Im not so sure if that will be working with an Acer Phoenix. I appreciate for any help.
I would suggest that you use wow7 until someone confirms successful flashing of the SLIC 2.1 modded bios of your make/model. Some modded bios have damaged boot block and could render your laptop unrecoverable.
