I am unsure if this is the right place to ask this question, the forum sections are just so confusing with little of description, so if I am wrong, please forgive me. I want to overclock my cpu, AMD Athlon X2 250, I know it's possible, but when I enter my BIOS, there is no option to change cpu settings, since it's locked. I have been looking all over the internet and found very little on my mobo BIOS, I found some and they succeeded, but their manner is of very little interest to me. My computer is a Dell, so yeah, by default, it's locked for overclocking. My Mobo Manufacturer: Dell Model: 04GJJT My Bios Manufacturer: American Megatrends BIOS type: AMI BIOS Version A06 That is all I can find right now, I was looking around this section and was told to go here and there and back and then there and so on... I think some major importance is the SLIC version, which I cannot find. I somehow understood at least the fact that I have to run RW and save the report, which I did. datafilehost(dot)com/download-8d6b75ca.html So please if someone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, is flashing/unlocking the same thing as modding? As in BIOS mod???
