Hey there, i've been using Windows 8 about 3 months now, and i haven't activated it yet, cause every time i successfully activated my not legit Windows 8 (i think) only black screen and mouse cursor appears after log in, i'm using a PC not a Dell laptop. 2Gb ram Nvidia 9500 GT 1TB hard disk. Im using Avast antivirus and i also get DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (aswnet.sys) But nowadays i don't get that error anymore, i do a fresh install, i installed Windows 8 with my previous files. can anyone help? I can use Windows 8 without any problem but not activated but when i activate the problem occurs.
i activate by, i downloaded some files in youtube and google its a one click activator it opens CMD and automatically restarts computer. and i installed windows 8 not in boot.
only thing you can do, is to run sfc /scannow in elevated command prompt and fix your messed system. After that you can try to do an activation against a KMS server or nanokms OR buy a legal key. First do the scannow or do a fresh install instead to be absolutely sure to have no more crab on the machine
That is what I pointed out by saying: or do a fresh install. Yes you are absolutely right formating the drive prior to a new setup ... ... and it must hurt to remember the mistake forever
I don't completely agree with you.. Refresh is build to resolve these type of problems. Many third party build solution around it to get rid of malware\virus infection with one click...
btw im using my windows 8 (not activated) right now. and is there any i can go back to windows 7? without needing any dvd or cd how can i activate this can i have a good link?
did you upgrade from 7 to 8? Did you do what we recommended in previous posts? For activating a clean system you can use KMS Nano v25 portable for example out of the sticky thread
