I tested it in Windows 10 Home Edition (real machine) and Windows 7 pro (virtual machine) with 16.0.8730.2175 Monthly channel version (Word only). I'm downloading latest Insider fast version.

Which Windows 10 Home edition, I didn't set it up for Windows 7. In order to test it I need to know which version of Home.

Same thing here with Latest Insider Fast channel (Windows 7 pro) : WARNING: /revoke=administrators Error when checking arguments i (registry Office...16.0/common). Current User is set to Read only in regkeys.
Program has dark theme after the error message but returns to standard theme if rebooted.

Sorry, I do not deal with Windows 7. You are welcome to try on your own though. :)

No problem. I don't use black theme, I just want to help reporting bugs and trying to reproduce them.

Ok thanks for the info. I still have the error message, even creating an other account. Closing Office App and rebooting, I'm back to default theme. I'll create an other VM and retest.

No way ! Same error message with a new install (I unblocked your .exe file before use it after download). But it works until you close and reopen the app. Does the fact that OS is configured into other languages (ie french or portuguese) make a difference ? I'm not sure since regkeys are the same.

Well you can do it manually by going into the registry keys, and after keys are the values you want, open permissions, advanced, change ownership to you, remove all inheritances, add you and set to read.
