I did this way, so not 100% sure what happened.
removed original install.wim - ran wimpill - ran DeFuse.
    replaced install.wim into USB.
installed - went AOK.... rebooted to and I ran defuse step 2. finalize.
    checked Winver and NO TIMEBOMB.....
checked system and shows Not Activated.
Ran BluePill 3.0B1 to Activate since none of the original Beta keys would Activate.
    BluePill 3.0b1 says Activated.
checked Winver - woops now i have a timebomb (again)
unlocked all with BluePill30.b1 all worked fine...
Ran Universal Text remover #2 the latest on BluDev site. failed to remove watermark.
Ran Universal Text Remover #1 (original) and watermark removed.
Rebooted 2 times and still I have a Timebomb in Winver. but everything else is working AOK.

Now that is an idea . I'm sure almost every body knows how to replace the install.wim in uncompressed iso.

    Okay,
    Run WIMPill
    Run BluDefuse
    Install
    Run BlueDefuse
    Use finalize Option
    Restart
    Apply BluePill 1.6 not 3.0
    Report results
(this is temporary, I will update this, so u won't have to do wimpill part)

chbaldo will e notified about utr

I think we have to confirm if the timebomb is really defused (even if it's not shown in winver), you have to set the bios to later than July 2 and run for a few hours, or maybe a day to see if it reboots.

When it confirms working, then we go on with improving and debugging.....just my suggestions. :p

Oh now I know why they don't put everything in the OEM folder.
The problem is that it has to be activated first before installing blupill.
So I think the slc.dll that defuse integrates into the wim only breaks the timebomp. Then after install you can activate it, and then bluepill unlocks everything and replaces the hacked slc.dll with a newer one, that also unlocks. But now windows can't be activated anymore, that's why activation has to happen before unlocking and the OEM folder breaks activation.
That's also why wimpill doesn't activate.

But appearantly bluepill 3.0 has a solution for that problem?

Did all that, getting "install.wim could not be found" error message when trying to install :(

    Edit:

Nevermind, turns out MagicISO was the problem. Instead of editing the iso, I just copied the files to my PC and ran them with the modified install.wim and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks BluDevTeam :worthy:

So what's the verdict on BlueDefuse? I just reinstalled 7959 on one of my computers and 7955 on two others. So I'm going to hold off on this for awhile unless we can confirm that it works. We've got a couple weeks to figure this out.

Not sure if anyone's posted this already,
but until it's released you guys could set the date as 4/1/2010 or something and disable sync-ing with the server as a workaround.

Yes, but then the date is false and some programs don't work. An example are anti-virus programs.

Could you please explain exactly what error the new version of UTR gives to you? It works nicely in any installation of Windows 8 I have.

There is NO ERROR. it simply does not work... says it install and done either s/r i use r reboot, and watermark is still there...
after reboot the winver shows timebomb is back....I have found that DeFuse on this did nothing (probably forget to Run as admin...when I run DeFuse as admin. then I can not install properly, it gets to setup for 1st use... then does nothing....
I see there are newer programs today, and that wimpill is not needed ... so will have to run every test again...
