I have two windows 8 OS partitions one is x32 the other x64 on a single drive as a duel boot system. However I used easyBCD in order to rename the menu description so I could remember which was which. I renamed the entries now instead of the nice new blue boot menu where the mouse worked I was presented with the old black windows boot menu. I tried to fix it which the utility and now deleted the entire BCD. I then tried adding one so at least I could boot but mucked up! so in order to get onto windows I installed another windows. now it just boots directly to this. I would like to get my other original OS's back. Can anyone explain how I some way I guess I'm going to have to supply a argument to each partition?

I had the same thing, except with two x86 installs, one of 7 and one of 8.

I just ran a system refresh from 8 and everything was set right when it rebooted.
Worth a try, at worst it won't change anything. Let us know how it goes.

Its a good idea to back-up the BCD before tweaking it.
I use DBP 1.1 so I cannot tell you how to do that w/ easyBCD
