Bricked ThinkPad L460 > BIOS-TPM mating?

    Got a L460 here that died during BIOS flashing, I already found the location for the BIOS chip but then I read something related to the TPM and it being married to the BIOS.

    What does that mean? Can't I flash a generic BIOS binary from Lenovo's site and be done with it?
