bugs in Windows 10 build 10061

listen after more than 4 upgrades that file cant be removed with that software u need a unlocker....but u run the danger of killing the OS

 

Anyone knows a method to force an app to uninstall? In my case, the Xbox app.

 

Well, it worked after each upgrade and has never "killed the OS" yet. Thanks for your concern but I won't worry since it's on another PC for experiment purposes. I have several working PCs laying around.

 

i have never had any luck with ccleaner.....is weird some apps work well in some boxes and not in others

My task bar keeps in minimising after update. Even if auto hide is disabled

Win32 apps on start screen must be run with admin rights

Anyway to keep the taskbar black but the notification panel white?

My ssd seems slower Samsung evo on this update or maybe it's because of the new firmware from magician 4.6

 

• Synaptics driver update for Synaptics SMBus TouchPad when install on my laptop (HP DV6 )if you touch mouse freezes laptop so you are forced to use external mouse after restarting to remove it .
Its disturbing because you are not able to select driver to be install ,or not

 

My laptop uses the same as that. I haven't had any problems with it

 

You can use Microsoft Disk Cleanup or CCleaner to do that. But Microsoft Disk Cleanup is faster

 

I've upgraded from 10056 and didn't encounter that problem.

 

After upgrading to 10061 yesterday coming from 10056 the Mail and Calendar apps worked just fine, but somewhere in the middle of the day they started crashing upon clicking on them and the same problem is still here today. Now I can't use 'em anymore :-( Does anyone know of a fix for this?

 

Anybody else having problems with Synaptics SMbus update that was pushed out by Microsoft on April 22, 2015? I am getting BSOD with error DPC Watchdog Violation.

have the same Problem with my ACER Aspire 5920 .. BSOD ..

 

ive used ccleaner everytime and had no issues in removing the windows.old folder...

 

How is that proof? There is no windows.old folder in that screenshot lol

 

Could first use CleanMgr with CMD and after that CCleaner!! Peace of cake!!

 

mind you, he is using Windows 8.1 Pro Preview and hence screenshot from that perspective only.

Is there any way to select what to download from windows update with eye on buggy synaptic driver ?
Every time i roll back driver from device manager it try to install again.

Uninstall Chrome completely and re-install again.
