Yeah, we can't access tabs or anything yet. I guess it's because it's set for gestures on a touch-screen to bring tabs and the url bar up (You have to click a link to bring it up). I'm sure to test it we'll get hotkeys or more buttons soon.

Windows Task Manager shows "Waiting on User Input" as Status. This seems to be a new feature of the new UI...

I still do not understand why I have a black screen after you install Windows 8, the washing build before I ever did that.
But it is black screen with writing nvraid.sys.

Just a side note, the Immersive Browser seems to be using nearly 50MB more of resources than the regular IE9. Def more background stuffs going on!

    Tomorrow I'll upload a fixed install.wim that:
    - has OSBOM.TXT, Unattended.xml, sysprep folder and C:\Windows\Panther\Unattended.xml removed (just cause you don't need any of them and they are just added by HP I think)
    - boots straight into OOBE instead of going through sysprep first (triggered by Unattended in panther)
    - has sfc /scannow already done

To do this I'll just install it with all it's stupid sysprep hassle and let it go to OOBE, press ctrl + shift + F3 to reboot into audit mode, run sfc /scannow.
Then choose the option to go to OOBE on next boot, check generalize and select shutdown in sysprep, and let sysprep do it's thing.
Boot into windows 7, remove the files, capture image with imagex.

I tested this today without sfc already cause I wanted to make an image that goes straight to OOBE. The only issue I'm having is that sysprep fails after removing the files, but maybe sfc fixes that too, who knows...

The only files break in the wim is twinui.dll (in system32 & syswow64).

Restore this files from winsxs, restore usertile function and the ie immersive can work to.

extract of Log from sfc /scannow :

Also if anybody didn't know, in IE Immersive F7 enables "Caret Browsing". " Pressing F7 turns Caret Browsing on or off. This feature puts a movable cursor in webpages that you can use to select text using the keyboard"

Ok I won't do sfc then but just replace the file from windows 7 before capturing.
You know if that file can have any effect on sysprep too?

Yup. Just edit the .theme file in notepad++ and change "ColourizationColor=345435" (or whatever the number is), to "AutoColourization=1".

Could we put a dummy shsx.dll in sys32 and then run this application? :O

No, it won't work lol. Shsxs.dll exports different functions for use by other programs, presumably the ones that rely on the new immersive layout. You can't simply go in and make them up :p Unless of course you're referring to sfc /sccannow which will work.
