Because we don't want a thread to discuss builds that won't be leaked anyway. It teases people, it's unfair and it causes a mess that us moderators are left to clean up. Out of hand = Too many posts to go through and clean up and once we do clean things up within a few hours people make it a mess again.
Ok, but how can you be 100% sure that there will be no leak? You could have just closed that thread without deleting it and start a new one.
He sort of right though. People making things up is making MDL members even angrier. This is causing the thread to become out of hand. The more it happens, the more angrier the members get. The more quicker they are easily enraged. It's just a thread where people can boast, lie and think they are god.
@ Nawzil But that would mean cleaning up a thread that contains very little information. I mean most of that thread was "theres going to be a leak soon " or "I have build 8xxx " and then when there wasn't any leaks people would be upset, argue over who has what build or beg others to leak something. BobSheep was a great moderator but this section of the forum burnt him out as it taken a lot of his time. He left so that he could focus on his work, create music and get a good nights rest. You could argue that taking on more moderators would help but it wouldn't prevent the arguments or stop the begging. If we only focus on what does exist then people are happier. Thats not to say that new features or news can't be dicussed but the boasting and teasing doesn't gain anyone here anything
Without that Next Leak (>7989) Discussions, what can WinWorld and Canouna do? Maybe we can "hire" them as moderators! LOL
They can keep an eye on things, debunk any false rumours, share anything thats newsworthy etc. They don't like to be asked the same questions each day and the main answer to "when's the next leak" is that you should always expent a beta version before a new leaked version.

I also want to add that The person whom leaked the 7989 install.wim did not get fired. I also think that the people who were able to TRACK this person and send EMail-PM to him/her do so in VERY BAD TASTE. To those that did and upset the "Leaker" and when you also say that YOU HAVE an will not LEAK - well that is also very bad taste. If you have the STFU. If you do not have then STOP BEGGING. I also think that people who took what someone else did and post all over the internet that THEY made an leaked - are Well enough said... & if I get banned for speaking the truth.. so be it.... I will not post any names in reference to what I have posted - because you know who you are... Enought said Snuffy of BA - Win-World - MDL - DHC and W7V plus other sites and forums...
Problem here is even if I had or have a newer install.wim I would not leak due to all the begging and bickering - back stabbing about who did what or why did I not do this or that.
Very good Daz, even if he does not leak into my eyes canouna is here a very helpful member. I'm serious, we're all human and sometimes make a mistake. As long as we learn from our mistakes we are on the right track. I do it.
spoken like a true gentleman. yes Canouna is ok. and he is perfectly ok that he does not leak. M$ does not like Leakers.
I have a suggestion: Create a new sticky New Build (>7989) Pictures, so everyone here can show their new build pictures - they have to be real, no fake or paint job. Those who's gotten new builds will have chances to show off their stuff. There will be no begging, attacking, back stabbing, no questions asked, just "show and tell". At the end of the day, we'll see who's got the "Best Picture".
Hmm, I've really given up on these next build discussion threads. Nobody seems to actually want to contribute which makes them pointless.
One thing MDL values way above other sites is that it can provide real genuine win8 infos, and the majority of these infos came from canouna; moreover he could tell us what infos are lies/fakes/trolls, etc. My idea is to have this thread about win8 infos, whatever title it could be, and make canouna a mod, but he only has to watch over this thread so it won't take too much of his time. Naturally other mods could also watch over this thread because canouna couldn't be watching it 24 hours and we don't wish undesirable posts to stay long. btw, I have seen some people talking about god or religion, nothing could be more wrong, canouna is no god, his knowledge about win8 infos made him an asset, a valuable asset to MDL, we trust what he says, there is nothing about religion or worshipping about it.
