Does anyone know if it is safe to modify explorer.exe or imageres.dll? I stupidly modified both at once and had to reinstall. It also could've been the combination of red pill and modifying those files. Any thoughts?
So if the new startscreen is here, but not enabled, doesn't that mean the resources are somewhere in the FS? If so, where? Becuase i can't find anything related to the startscreen.
The StartScreen, Immersive etc require the special shsxs.dll that Micro$oft does not include in the builds.
Not sure it's "new" (it's my first W8 build) but I'm surprised by something...Why there's full Hyper-V on this? (Turn Windows Features On or Off). It's client Ultimate, not Server, right? Are they going to do something with Hyper-V in W8 client?
Strange indeed...they have obviously changed the code there...perhaps the UserTile only locks after the redpill is enabled? Also my aero-lite glass is very very buggy, but the one enabled by redpill works fine...but all in all it is a very great build....
Is it just me or this build is freakin' fast. Applications load unbelievably fast compared to windows 7 and previous win8 builds. I barely see Office 2010 logo when launching apps (I'm on SSD, but I was on it in Win7 too).

Anyone have any luck modifying explorer.exe? When I do it I am greeted with a black screen instead of my desktop. I used Redpill 1.0 & I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the issue.
