The onscreen keyboard has had a UI redesign... it has the same features as that of D9 with being able to thumb type. One major flaw of the keyboard is the removal of the Windows Flag and Alt keys, which makes remoting a server from a tablet a bit complicated.
The only reason I could think is that with the new tablet UI you would not need a Windows Key due to the gestures leading to the start screen. No idea about alt. And will Office 15 run on this???
WinRT UI Both glcnd and ImmersiveBrowser applications (Program Files\Microsoft) don't work even when binding webpages/pdf files to them. The XAML files for the PDF reader are just WPF ControlTemplates so I'll try to open them with ExpressionBlend later. When you open glcnd a "WinRT UI" window briefly pops up, dunno if it's new (Window isn't transparent it's just a printscreen, it disappears immediately.) h t tp://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7696/winrt.png
For those who are having issues regarding desktop composition and NVIDIA drivers there is an easy solution; The latest GeForce 275.53 drivers appear to break desktop composition, however the 270.61 drivers work fine and don't pose any issues. As for IE x86 and WMP x86 crashing upon launch, this is due to the RedPill enabler. It only patches slc.dll in C:\Windows\System32 which holds 64-bit system files. slc.dll within SysWOW64 which holds the 32-bit files MUST also be patched in order for x86 application emulation to work properly. This is why you see x86 Windows apps such as IE x86 and WMP x86 crash.
I have done all the icons for the ribbon except for the undo/redo and select all/none/invert because I cannot find any dll that has those icons, I checked shell32.dll, imageres.dll, mycomput.dll and explorerframe.dll. Anyone know where they are located??
How did you extract this? I opened the bootres.dll (system32) with ResourceHacker but I don't see any pictures.
