I think I see the big picture. Of course it will be cheaper, but will it really be better? I don't think so. First of all, why wouldn't I need DVD/BD support? Maybe I travel a lot and want so see my own movies? If it got a USB port, I could hook up a external DVD/BD player. Why would an OEM pay for the royalties? The rather slap a trail version of a program or a freeware one on there systems? Just more bloatware. Second of all, I dislike Metro. If I could rip it out, then I would. It is a total waste on desktops and laptops for most users. Mayor businesses will skip this one and stick with Windows 7. And why oh why must I take an other program to do that what any another operating system does by default?
