Yes, better than buy single function, like rumor said.

What you might be refering to is ARM and the "instant on, always connected" functionality windows will have on that platform, so when you click the power button you are supposed to instantly see windows 8 working. Supposed to not leech your battery empty :)
But lol if Windows 8 boots THAT fast on a SSD (no other os boots that fast, really) you really will not be worse off if you have x86 ^^

I was referring to system imaging and restore. Not the useless, hit and miss lousy system restore/backup and imaging of windows 7 and its predecssors, but what we get from various backup softwares such as acronis, shadowprotect, etc.

Interesting that Windows 8 in this video booted in around 8 seconds, while the chart in the blog post shows that the fastest test system needed more then 15 seconds.

Is this the new Windows 8 Logo? He used this pic on twitter and facebook.
When i compared that with the Office 2010 Logo it has also only one color.

No thats definitly more like some sort of "New logo soon™" hint, just look at Canounas Avatar which is using the Windows Logo Image from twinui i think, though im not sure i would actually like such a Flat Logo, W7 Logo looks awesome.
Afterall every Windows version has a new Windows Logo, though not sure they would reveal it one year before release ~.~

Looks like a grey version of the blue Windows Azure logo.
