Damn I had not installed BypassESU-Blue-V2. I only had the WSUS Proxy for Win8 installed. After installing BypassESU both OS's detected and installed the November rollups without a hitch.
Thanks so much for your help! Been using Windows 8 since 2012 and its thanks to your work that I can continue with it for at least a while longer.

    Thanks again @abbodi1406.

That will certainly do it. I assumed the most recent drop was for Win8.1. My bad.

It does give some insight perhaps into the SyncUpdates SOAP action string replacements though. If mine still worked without the Win8.1 UpdateID replacements, then it's possible the SPP mod and SMBIOSAssetTag stripping were sufficient.

The lack of a real ReportingWebService forward will likely mean that the client will start getting the WSUS notice that it has not reported in the last 30 days. I wasn't able to get the schema to check for anything that might need to be stripped to avoid upstream synchronization disclosure. This isn't an issue if you are pointing directly to MU I guess.

The SLS requests appear to have started after I installed BypassESU-Blue-v2.

SPP mod and SMBIOSAssetTag stripping are sufficient to receive ESU update on Server 2012/R2
Win 8.0/8.1 needs the other mods to fake Server 2012/R2 category

like you tested, one can change WUStatusServer to point to the real WSUS address in that case

This doesn't actually work. I must have updated WUServer instead when testing.

The WU client always uses the value specified in WUServer for WUStatusServer despite what the latter is configured with, i.e. WUStatusServer has no effect on the client whatsoever.

I had to remove the intercept for the ReportEventBatch SOAP action for it to work via WSUS Proxy (which it now does).

    您好,我是新手,我想问一下是否有办法让win8.1通过WU接收服务器2012 R2的ESU更新,而不需要安装WSUS,就像您制作的win7_WU_ESU_pather

    Have a good day

    Hello everyone!

    I've got en_windows_embedded_8.1_industry_enterprise_with_update_x64_dvd_6052160.iso
I want to do: mounted directory / offline image integration

    1) Is it possible to do it on a running Windows 7 x64 computer?
    2) According to the post above, are these the only updates needed?
    KB5033900
    KB5033906
    KB5033915
    KB5034171
    KB5034587
    Thanks in advance.
