    I can for some reason not find any new updates anymore

    Edit: I know what is wrong probably. It is the Servicing Stack Update of April

    Did you install KB5030279 or Monthly Rollup?

    Thank you for your quick answer. The following updates were installed on this VM in October 2023:
    1. KB5031469 (Servicing stack update for Windows Server 2012: October 10, 2023)
    2. KB5031442 (October 10, 2023—KB5031442 (Monthly Rollup))
    3. KB5031002 (October 10, 2023-Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows Server 2012)

    Well, it could have worked for me due a glitch, or leftovers from WSUS Proxy
    i will test again and see

    HI. This my first ever post in the forum. Pardon me if it doesn't belong here.
    Is there any complete guide on how to install Windows 8.1 and enable ESU? Which activation should I use? because the massgrave site doesn't mention any specific guide regarding Windows 8.1.

    Hello, @ABC005

    - installing would not very different from Windows 7
    - extract BypassESU-Blue-v2.7z and run LiveOS-Setup.cmd as administrator, then press 2
    - change Windows Update setting to "Never check for updates"
    - install SSU KB5027574 or later
    - install Rollup KB3172614
    - change Windows Update setting to your prefered choice
    - run Windows Update and install available updates

    for activation, KMS is the only method
    either use KMS_VL_ALL, or KMS Online from MAS

    What's the point of this software? ESU updates from the server version are easily installed without your patch (SSU + Monthly Rollup).

    Do you realize that this is allows to extend the life of some versions of NT 6.2 / 6.3 that are not officially supported by Microsoft anymore?
    Client + Embedded + some Server versions (Storage Server for example)

    Edit, if you are unarchiving this on a Mac, don't use the system standard unarchiving tool, it can't handle the password for some reason

    I wanted to use it on 2012r2 without the proxy but the problem is that the keys are detected as invalid and it will not change the key.
    Error 0xC004E016
    The Software Licensing Service reported that this prodcut key is invalid.
    KB5017220 and BpBlueV2 are installed.

    the manually update with KB5041828 went fine. Is something additional required that the client can find & install the updates from the local wsus server?

    You must install KB5030287, or Monthly Rollup >= 2023-09

    Was trying this on a virtual machine with Windows 8 Enterprise. Windows update essentially stops providing any updates after applying this registry, it just spits out error 8007000E. I have tried cleaning up softwaredistribution and sfc/dism, but still windows update does not work until I revert the registry changes.

    You should enable it only after installing regular Windows 8 updates

    or manually install latest SSU and Monthly Rollup
