I confused this script is suitable for multiple languages system ?

Do Server 2012 updates work on Windows 8 now? As Server 2012 R2 on Windows 8.1 does not.

 

What about .NET Framework updates?

 

They still worked as of July, so I think they will still work. To make sure they still work, just try installing them, or download a .NET update from the MUC, open it in 7-Zip and access the .txt file in the root of it. If it still says Windows 8 [or 8.1] Client, then they will still work.

And what updates are necessary to use Windows Server 2012 R2 updates in Windows 8.1? (I'm a bit of a novice at this sort of thing)

 

nothing special you could download or install any updates as normal

I suggested just install the updates on 2025-06 which followed abbodi1406

 

Any plans to backport updates to Windows 8.1 somewhere around november 2026?
