For the sake of clarity, which NFS Most Wanted is having issues since the Jan 2026 Update? The 2005 version, or the 2012 version? EDIT: the question was answered via the amendment of the previous post.

Have you installed the latest Monthly Rollup from June ? Wait for update from NewEraCracker if adjustments need to be made to the script.
Hi, Restore a previous restore point to revert the broken state. I am not sure of what you exactly did. Remember: I am recommending, for the moment, to stick with my tutorial from May and the May update, anything you do further, is at your own risk. I say on my posts: "No warranties reserved, expressed, implied, or otherwise. Do not try this on a production system. It is merely a proof-of-concept and is work-in-progress." I do use this on my laptop, and I test it first thoroughly on a Virtual Machine, and then I post the update here. My two cents. Thank you. P.S.: Expect an update a bit later than usual. I had some things come up that demand my attention. And...
Can I get the latest cumulative update for Server 2012R2 on Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Professional/Enterprise by using BypassESU (and maybe WSUSProxy too)?
No 2025-07 Monthly Rollup and later are not compatible with Client or Embedded ps, BypassESU will allow you to install it, but it will render your system unbootable
Thank you, but can I install 2025-06 CU on Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro/Enterprise with bypassesu?
Not recommended. The 2025-05 and 2025-06 updates introduce severe performance regressions and stability issues, which Microsoft officially addressed only in October 2025.
And also 2025-04 update as well I think, So the 2025-03 update stay should be a good stay for now. Bugs and problems on 2025-04 Update or later (According to NewEraCracker's investigation.): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1877626
2025-04 can also work, if you use the Shell32 Fix from the link (3rd post) On one of my computers I stayed on 2025-04 + Shell32 Fix and still haven't come across a single problem with over 1 year of use.
Does this works on Windows 8 Embedded Standard or Embedded as Target? Edit: I confirmed it's working with just editing EditionID
Soon this won't be a problem anymore. I plan to release modded updates for 8.0 similar to my modded 8.1 update that's available HERE No ETA on it though, it could be weeks until the first release.
