You must install wufuc first, then reboot. Install BypassESU v5 (Full installation, ESU Suppressor + WU ESU Patcher), then reboot.
Here's an observation that I made that might be of interest to some. Up to now I applied Bypass V4, installed kb4528069, removed Bypass and then installed 2020-02 SSU und 2020-02 LCU. The installs all went fine, but I ended up getting a lot of WU offers for previously superseded updates. On Windows 32-bit, a total of 7 and on Win64-bit, a total of 10. I decided to leave them sit there hoping Microsoft would eventually fix their mess. After v5 came out, I applied the WU patch and then installed kb4538483 to prepare for next month. I rebooted and ran check for updates from the WU GUI and all the bogus WU offers no longer show up on Win7 32-bit and 64-bit.
is the update that enables WU to offer ESU stuff, the feb 2020 ssu is the one which is needed for installing next months updates. With or without the ESU license preparation update, WU will offer the superseded updates.
I know what kb4538483 does. My observation still stands - after the WU patch and applying kb4538483, searching for updates came up with no updates found on both of my systems. Pegasus80 seems to have observed this too. What makes you say with certainty that superseded updates will still be offered?
In my case, all of them disappeared. Optional and Important. I guess it depends on what updates are already present on a given system. The number of offers I had was less than what you are showing.
@Enthousiast. After using bypass V5 and with kb4538483 installed, I still get KB3185319 offered using WU. Windows X64 ultimate. I also get KB4041083 (2017-19 .net roll-up) always offered, btw.
I've witness the same thing as you did. All important & optional updates disappeared. I'm using Komm's Update Checker v.7.01.001.3023.
@adric manually installing February Rollup KB4537820 will make all older Rollups superseded (because they all are chained) WU without ESU patch is not aware of KB4537820, it only see that January Rollup KB4534310 is superseded (i.e. not applicable) therefore, it offer the old updates that KB4534310 replace when you patch WU for ESU, it now see and know KB4537820, so it does not offer the old updates that KB4537820/KB4534310 replace
I have installed all required updates before installing Bypass ESU v4 made a reboot and installed the newly offered updates. Everything completed without any poblems . . . . . the tool seems to work great. Then I uninstalled ESU 4 and replaced it with Bypass ESU v5 a couple of days ago and I was offered the monthly rollup for February which I didn´t want. In the past I always installed the security only updates. While installing the tool the option "2" which is listed below wasn´t offered to me as an option. How can I make the tool install the ESU Suppressor without having the option while installing the tool?? Again now when I uninstall the tool and reinstall it the option "2" is not listed. Hope someone can help me with that . . . thanks for the support to all Windows7 user who dont want to change to NSA Spyware Central Windows 10 1] Full Installation {ESU Suppressor + WU ESU Patcher} most recommended option [2] Install ESU Suppressor mainly for security-only updates users, whom don't need the Monthly Rollup through WU [3] Install WU ESU Patcher this only allow to offer ESU updates via WU !! Warning: unless you have another bypass installed, ESU updates installation will fail with this option
