How do I integrate in WIM because it shows an error message. You could leave integration instructions for me, it is very difficult to understand the current one.
Please leave the fonts and such default. You can't uninstall KB4528069 when any ESU update is installed, afaik. You can keep or delete them, whatever you want.
Hey there, I do not exactly understand how ESUs work... It's been a while since I applied the BypassESU v3 patch, and then at February the 11st 2020, no updates. So I checked for news here, and I saw BypassESU v4. Still no luck. Then I checked again and installed the v5. Still nothing. All updates are installed through Windows update, including the latest servicing stack, and everything. (only one update for the printer but it wouldn't work anyway) The version is Windows 7 Ultimate x64 that was installed in 2017, and I don't recall any instabilities on it. Can anyone tell me what to do please ? Sincerly, Lothaire Cliquennois... Edit : at the time I'm deleting any WU related log files in the Windows folder, restarting needed services and stuff... Edit II : I restarted fully the computer and now it's searching for updates since at least ten minutes. I see the mandatory svchost and TrustedInstaller working in tandem in the task manager.
Hello, and thanks for your quick answer, Yes I did follow the instructions, hence why I took the time to write down something about it )
I asked, because i didn't see you did install the ESU licensing preparation update (KB4538483) after installing bypass v5.
So... Now it's only asking to install language packs, which aren't necessary as I already installed the one I needed.
Just to be clear, ESUs do need to be installed via Windows Update, do they ? I know they can be installed manually, but we never know with these kind of things
I had that. Ill re post what I have. We both may have all we need . Did you install all what I have already? Re post Yesterday at 00:57 Enthousiast said: ↑ If you've used light and didn't install the full KB4528069 after it, the v5 version will offer all options. Installed KB4528069-Lite, manually installed kb4537813 & kb4537767 by .MSU, next i ran v5 and it offered all options: Next i installed the ESU Licensing Preparation update (kb4538483) by .MSU and ran WU, reboot, and did get the 2020-02 rollup offered after this. Afaik, the whole purpose of using the separate security updates manually is to not use WU because of this. I installed all of the above. Before version 5 was out I had downloaded V4 then took it out. Installed lite after. I got these after that kb4537829 KB4537820 KB4537813 KB4537767 No problems Installed Bypass ESU v5. Been a few days. Figure it took only WU ESU patcher. Decided to take out patch and reinstall as a test Cant take it out which is good anyway I guess. Every time I reboot and open the v5 from the simple path it has [4] Remove WU ESU Patcher [9] Exit Im damn sure the WU ESU patcher in there to say this and I have all updates above. Havent read any posts here in a few days and didnt read anyone testing it by Taking it out then rebooting. Acts like its still there which is good What you think? I think its a go. Now has anything changed in 3 days? BTW I never had an errors on any installs I feel its good to go.
Hello I installed manually with Bypass ESU v4 and successfully, from the Microsoft Update catalog: Windows Malware Removal Tool - February 2020 (KB890830) 2020-01 Overview of the Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4539601) Security Update for Windows (KB4537813) Security Update for Windows (KB4537820) Update for Windows (KB4539602) 2020-02 Maintenance stack update for Windows 7 for x86 systems (KB4537829) Then I installed Bypass ESU v5 AIO: LiveOS-Setup.cmd and "Run as administrator" [3] Install WU ESU Patcher Is this the correct procedure for receiving updates from March through WU?
