You can use WHD+W7UI or SIMPLIX Updatepack to update the image offline or the install online.

But this is better to be discussed in the win 7 part of the forum:

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'll head over to that forum in a bit, but can you clue me in on what WHD+W7UI or SIMPLIX is? I've been out of the loop for so long, it's embarrassing how much I have to catch up on.

Simplix is a monthly self installing updatepack, it's in the sticky threads on the 7 part of the forum and WHD is WIndows Hotfix Downloader* + W7UI** is the online/offline Updates Installer script.

I too am seeing an 80073712 error after a full install of V5 and having restarted. WU finds two new updates, KB4537820 & KB947821. KB4537820 is the one giving the error. KB947821 almost looks like a "fixit" update for WU. Is WU somehow detecting it was altered?

Yes, I am less worried about that and my concerned why I am seeing an 80073712 error after a full install of V5, having restarted, and trying to install KB4537820. I saw KB4528069 is bundled with V5. Is V5 also compatible with Server 2008 R2?

Using "BypassESU-v5-AIO" (no previous versions used)
Just to make sure I've got my head pulled all the way out, (in the first post it's listed as) "Updated Windows Update Client, at least KB3138612", if I'm not using WU at all I don't need this do I?
    Thanks

I think you need that update even if you are installing updates downloaded from the Windows Update Catalog.

Hello I have been using this bypass patch since it came out. With version 5, after updating via WU page and removing version 4 last month when I load the verson 5 CMD patch, yes even I tried the other integration files the cmd window opens quickly and shuts down abruptly. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Had exact same issue with v5 - certain processes appear to interfere with it. I disabled one by one and eventually it worked. Check your antivirus/anti malware.

Hi, I have a little problem with BypassESU-v5. I do everything according to the instructions, but after selecting [1] This option will install both, ESU suppressor and WU patcher. I got information that everything is fine and press any key. But nothing happend KB4528069 did not install. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: FALSE ALARM, please delete this message :0
