I have a wuaueng.dll and a wuaueng3.dll. Should I delete the first one? I tried your procedure and the hardware detection in WU still occurred. I have manually installed all the March updates so the esu bypass is working properly.
I am confused when getting WUs on my Win7 Ultimate WMC PC. The updates are generic. On another Win7 PC they show with descriptive names. Like: 2020-03 Security Monthly Quality Rollup... Why are my names generic? RandyO
Installed bypass v5 on a fresh computer, march updates installed fine through windows update! Also installed v5 on a computer with v4 already installed, worked fine as well, thank you devs!
Manually installed updates from the update catalog get generic names, where as updates installed through Windows Update have descriptive names. This was already the case before Windows 7 entered Extended Support.
Leave them both. If the hardware detection still occurred, then you should do this: Do Win key + R, then type "services.msc" and find Windows Update. Stop this service. Then you should delete the folder "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution", restart, then check WU". That's the information from the OP, you should have read it by now.
I installed all necessary downloads before trying to do the Live-OS-Setup.cmd Unfortunatly I get the message that the system can't find the path. (Error: 3) === ERROR === Failed installing KB4528069 Package. restart th system and try agin. ....when restarting the system and trying again, I get always the same error, anybody could give me an advice ? Thanks

Did you check the troubleshoot Q&A? abbodi1406 said: ↑ - Troubleshoot Q&A: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1583751/ Thanks for the advise, in my case it is: Q: With v5 I get error 3, The system cannot find the path specified. A: Create the folder "C:\Windows\ConfigSetRoot\" manually and put in "Windows6.1-KB4528069-x86.cab" or "Windows6.1-KB4528069-x64.cab" (x86 on 32bit -and x64 on 64bit Windows) and rerun the cmd. Created the folder, converted windows6.1-kb4528069-x64_b00bef3c3a13b8bc65bfaea63426386dbb54c336.msu to .cab with win toolkit but still it didn't work.

The rest of the 7s I have do not give notice for updates. The extended support. All windows 7s have the v5. All the computers that have 7 have the proper updates installed and only one runs flawless I can manually update but rather WU let me know. I was told to refresh or reset WU. Code: Q: With v5 I get error 3, The system cannot find the path specified. A: Create the folder "C:\Windows\ConfigSetRoot\" manually and put in "Windows6.1-KB4528069-x86.cab" or "Windows6.1-KB4528069-x64.cab" (x86 on 32bit -and x64 on 64bit Windows) and rerun the cmd. Just create "c:\windows\configsetroot\" and put the cab file in the folder.
I have done everything lke in the manual, created "C:\Windows\ConfigSetRoot\" manually and put in "Windows6.1-KB4528069-x64.cab" but always ERROR 3
