    it has my same error:
CustomAction CA_ESUValidate_amd64 returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

Well then buy a Windows 7 ESU key for $65 and this patch works :)

Are you just here to troll? Nobody would be reading all the posts here if they wanted to buy a MS key.

No I'm not here to troll, I'm here to ensure there are no issues with installing .net updates on Windows 7 machines on day one of patch Tuesday so the minute there are patch issues reported I jump all over it.. The root cause of the failure is a lack of the key.

This thread is about the ESU Bypass usage, not for people with genuine ESU keys, which nobody can buy legit outside of the official ESU conditions.

Still, it's good to know that the update works with a legit key. So Susan's posts weren't completely useless. Maybe she can stick around and help Abbodi fix this. ;)

May I humbly suggest reading the OP before responding in a thread?

I believe the consensus is, it's not working for the dotnet rollup.

This donetup is not really necessary ? isn't it ?
I have personnally taken the decision to hide this update until a solution has been released to make it installed and if it's not the case, i don't care.
As long as monthly rollup and ssu are successfully installed, this is the most important and what most people care about.

If it got an update, it probably has a vulnerability.

yes you could be right about that but that is not why i will advice people to pay to continue to receive ESU updates, i will wait until a solution has been released and fixes this issue.
