    so why spamming this thread with useless questions if you already know the answers!
    don't be an asshole by mentioning the forum rules to me; the reason I posted in Dutch once was to help out a Dutch lady who didn't understand the English explanation! Hell I even mentioned it in that post so shut it

    hi Oldie then did you succeed with the new method? On my side it worked I had the same problem as you during the installation

    I think so. The batch script sorted out Net Framework 4.8. KB4556399 wouldn't install but the 3.5.1 part of it (can't remember KB number) did install as per @Enthousiast@'s info. WU says everything is up to date and KB4556399 is no longer being offered so I guess that's OK.

    Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate with all updates until January 14, 2020 including Prerequisite Updates installed:

    KB3138612 (Windows Update Client)
    KB4474419 (SHA-2 code signing support, September 2019)
    KB4490628 (Servicing stack update, March 2019)
    KB4536952 (Extended Servicing stack update, January 2020)
    KB4538483 (ESU Licensing Preparation Package)

    Search Updates and it offers:
    KB890830 (Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool 5.82, May 2020)

    Install BypassESU-v6-AIO
    [1] Full Installation

    Ask to install
    KB4550735 (Extended Servicing stack update, March 2020)

    Reboot

    Install dotNetFx4_ESU_Bypass

    Search Updates and it offers:
    KB4556399 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework
    KB4556836 Cumulative Monthly Rollup (KB4556798 Internet Explorer 11 and KB4556843 Security Only)

    Search Updates and it offers:
    KB4555449 (Extended Servicing stack update, May 2020)

    Reboot and Finish OK

    I suspect he/she is outing the former msft mvp for advertising to buy questionable keys from even more questionable sources (businesses who sell ESU keys to people outside of the license agreement with msft).

    Yup, excellent as always, installed on Enterprise, Ultimate, and Ultimate N in just a couple minutes with dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer. Props to the group!

    - Implemented .NET 4 ESU Bypass
    - 2020-05 SSU KB4555449 is now needed as minimum prerequisite

    I'm on V5, is there a reason for me to change that and if so would i need to remove that before installing V7?

    For WU patcher & Dotnetfx4x installation options you can use v7, it will only offer the new options.
