You can start with downloading the needed source ISOs, if you tell me what language and arch. (i think it's en-US x64?), i can hint to the correct downloads.
120 gb ssd please make sure not to do forensic image ie sector by sector backup . you just have to do an incremental backup which will be fast to backup as well as restore . dont ever backup your os partitions on same disk . use another disk either hdd ssd or flash for backup of your os disk or else will result in a failure to restore . there are many apps to do so just try macrium reflect free edition & you will be good to go or else if you like that software you can easily buy it from paramount software solutions just the home edition for a single pc backup & restore . Edit : Forensic image is usefull when you want to backup linux os either debian red hat ubuntu fedora etc etc via windows based macrium reflect pe or re or fe . PE : Presinstallation Environment RE : Recovery Environment FE : Forensic Environment
Absolutely brother as i suggested him to first clean install using your simplix aio iso tool then update his os with software he need then when he feel sure that his os is ready to work then he can do a backup of entire disk parts which are needed for os ie EFI MSR & Windows Partition plus recovery partition too as it will be created when somebody used your tool to create updated iso . your tool is awesome as many others failed.
The FIRST backup must always be a FULL image backup. Those that follow can be small incremental backups.
@Enthousiast @mdylan22 i downloaded the ISO which you have provided i got my pen drive ready what is the next step i have to do bear with me as my questions can be stupid but i am new to this
no i deny your comment as you can simply do an incremental backup using macrium reflect which is set to defaults no need to do full forensic backup as i have tested it in many scenarios . Full Forensic sector by sector MR Image suffix mrimg is only needed when we have to backup a different os from source PE or RE of Reflect . Macrium reflect pe or re is created on M$ OS & if you want to backup Linux OS then only forensic sector by sector image is mandatory as per paramount software solution forum reply to my comment after i purchased there workstation edition two years ago .
I’m not sure if this is a language issue but you are confusing multiple terms. A forensic backup is different from a full backup, you are using the terms interchangeably. Also an incremental backup by its very definition backs up incremental changes which requires a full backup to exist when restoring. It’s really very basic stuff.
ok as per your knowledge . i am not interested to argue . thanks a lot for your quote . best of luck .
Please mdylan22 what you have been told regarding backups is absolutely correct. no tricks, no bans just knowledge you need to have if you are going to give advice. Keep safe best regards.
Brother i was telling somebody about backup & restore . no issue everything fine . stay blessed too .
