Bypass Windows 7 Extended Security Updates Eligibility

I don't really see the big deal honestly. It takes like 5 seconds to apply the patch and 10 seconds to uninstall it and you're likely only doing it once a month. I'd much rather see a tool or something that alerts you when a new update is possible, or some way for WU to see them for you.

Most likely it will be on the second tuesday of the month (patch tuesday), as it was for many years.

Nevermind. I figured it out. It needs an administrator-level cmd. I could install kb4528069 now.

Great that you made it work! It really only needs administrator privileges for installation.

No ha visto ninguna guía de instalación.

@Enthousiast, he's saying about how the ESU bypass is installed, and furthermore saying that there's no "installation guides" here, when there are clearly instructions on the very first post (which he obviously overlooked).

I already installed all the updates (I have had windows 7 a day for a long time) and just installed the bypass, look for new updates and the KB4528069 update did not come out. I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Hopefully they can help me since I don't want to go to Windows 10, besides that my internet connection is too bad to download all the files again. Thank you

 

The current bypass doesn't enable to get the ESU (test) update by WU, you can download it here:

And install it manually

@Enthousiast One more question, I don't want to be annoying ... since I installed the KB4528069 patch, a process called Trustedinstaller.exe that uses approximately 25% CPU remains in the background. Is it a problem that happens to me or is the bypass checking something? If there is any solution to this please let me know. Thank you

I've seen that people have went ahead and installed the bypass, whereas for me I'd rather wait after the last ever Patch Tuesday (or "Patch Wednesday", as I receive them typically on that day). Is that okay with anyone?

Also @foo4mdl, I already know about one of the links that Enthousiast provided just recently.
