OK, thanks, but why, in your opinion, did I get it offered just now? As I've mentioned, my machine's been activated for years and years. And I'm still using my original install from 10(?) years ago. Thanks again.
Sorry, but what is WAT, please? Thank you. Also, I have to confess that I don't understand what you wanted to illustrate with your screengrab video. As always, thank you for your incomparable generosity with assistance and patience with not-so-well informed people - like me.
= I used WAT update, WAT itself stands for Windows Activation Technology is the WAT update. The WAT update is offered with or without installed bypass tool, i gave an example of a scenario when it can re-offered.
abbodi1406...can I delete them or just leave them be? It's late here (11:42pm) so I'll check back tomorrow to see if you read my post. Thanks for your replies.
I have everything installed and up to date but can't make it. I tryed to do it manually from windows catalogue but have the same issue, it says "either the update is unavailable either a software is blocking it"
Thanks for your reply abbodi1406. I will leave the registry entries as you advised. The two KB files (KB4585205 and KB4576487) appeared in Installed Updates at first, but don't appear now. So I assume this means that the installation of ndp48.NET 4 update hasn't succeeded(?). Update 7th Jan 2021:- I decided to make a fresh attempt. I uninstalled the .NET4 Bypass and rebooted. I then followed the steps via ESU Bypass v11, selecting the .NET4 Bypass option. I then installed ndp48 .NET update again....everything went smoothly as before. This time however, I DIDN'T UNINSTALL the .NET4 Bypass. I rebooted and kb4576487 and kb4585205 still appear in installed updates and Microsoft .NET Framework still appears in installed programs list. I have no idea why they disappear if I uninstall the .NET4 Bypass?
