I took my usual advice to others and waited overnight before doing anything. The problem resolved itself or was fixed by M$. Thanks once again to everyone who makes BypassESU work, and thank you for putting up with our "problems".
Till yesterday WU ESU v.11 has worked, today stopped. I am doing some trials using WU ESU v.9 instead of v.11, meantime... No, noting to do. 2 Win 7 pro 64 correctly updated yesterday night, but today nothing to do with the third Win 7 pro 64, that is basicly a clone of the previous 2. Very funny, indeed...
Good evening I apologize in advance because I can't find an answer anywhere ... This is the problem that I encounter I would like to help a very good friend I am looking for the following two windows: Windows 7 Pro FR 64bits - ORIGINAL and Windows 7 Ultimate FR 64bits - ORIGINAL and the question I logically ask myself once I had him install one of the two operating systems. I should be able to make the updates via Windows Update until 14-01-2020 not seen that the support is effective until this date if I say no nonsense . then once all the updates are done I could apply over the: - BypassESU-v11 or am I missing a step before applying the: BypassESU-v11 Hoping to have an answer quickly enough because I have to help this person by tomorrow .
Dear Jim K., IMHO, for accuracy's sake, you should write, "The problem resolved itself or was fixed by M$, at least in my environment," or something to that effect. The point is that people - including me - are experiencing a variety of results with the March updates. As I've written, I have two virtually identical Lenovo S20 workstations. Last night (Berlin, Germany time) using Bypass v. 11, one installed the updates perfectly the first time using WU; the other was only offered the malicious software removal tool. Just for the record, last month, and every month since M$ ended its support for Win 7, I've had nothing but good, uniform experience due to the monumental efforts of the "Bypass" team. I'm no computer whiz, but I know how to do some WU problem solving on my Win 7 machines; I've been using the OS pretty much since it came out. I used every "weapon in my arsenal" before downloading the the quality-security update and installing it manually on the machine on which WU failed. Fortunately, the manual install worked perfectly, and I thought I was out of the woods. Today, I decided to update my laptops. Whatever it was that happened ("the problem resolved itself or was fixed by M$") while I was sleeping resulted in the fact that I wasn't able to install the quality-security version on any of the three laptops I tried it on. I had to settle for "security only", which is OK, too. I'm sorry to drag this out, and I'll close this overly long posting by commenting that people are also apparently experiencing various results with the NET updates. I've been able to get them both successfully installed on all my machines. Based on what Mr. Abbodi1406 has written, this may ultimately prove to have been not-such-good luck. I'm a-keepin' my fingers crossed.
Which part of "all March updates were pulled from WU" is not clear? WU ESU patcher has nothing to do with it
I had a hard time understanding your posting, but I've now read it several times, and I think I get what you're asking. I hope my reply is correct, and if it isn't I hope someone will correct me. If you get a hold of one of those French versions of Windows 7, I guess the first thing to do is make sure it's SP-1. Otherwise, you're going to have some extra work to do. Anyway, once you have SP-1 installed, you should be able to update it, as you said, until the date you mentioned using Windows Updates. At that point, I don't think there's anything else you really have to do before you try to finish the updates through yesterday using v. 11 of the Bypass. Of course I can't predict your success at getting everything installed successfully. For my part, I've had great success using the Bypass, but I'm using an English version of Windows 7 SP-1. Perhaps someone else can tell you whether having the French version will make any difference. Please keep in mind that a factor in how long all this will take - and whether it works smoothly (or at all) - is the Windows installation itself and the hardware of the computer you're installing it on. Furthermore, whenever you get finished with the Windows installation and the hundreds(?) of updates, if you decide to install any other Microsoft products (e.g. Office), you're going to have to get all the updates for them, too. Good luck.
I understand that the Bypass works for the German version, so I guess it will be working for other languages as well.
Good evening Yes you understood me very well @vonmir Thank you for your participation @Ricard0 on the other hand I would like to know what exactly the: - UpdatePack7R2 21.2.10 Multilingual (is this an update pack that can also be installed once I have made all the updates via Windows Update or not?) or would it be smarter to install a recent version of Windows 7 of: {Gen2} and apply over it: BypassESU-v11
I recommend that you first install a monthly package with a date from june 2018 to march 2019 (for example, kb 4471318 ) and update the stack for it, since subsequent updates do not include "PciClearStaleCache.exe".
or would it be smarter to install a recent version of Windows 7 of: {Gen2} and apply over it: BypassESU-v11
just info, right now W Malicious Software RT + Security Monthly Quality R W7 are being offered on WU but no .NET Framework kb890830 + kb5000841
The March update KB5000841 could not be installed. I tried with BypassESU-v9-AIO, BypassESU-v11, I deleted the contents of the SoftwareDistribution folder, downloaded it from the Windows Update Catalog, the installation failed even if installed separately. What else can I do?
