    Same as peter22 here.
I just rebooted after the other updates installed and then restarted installing KB5003667.Full success after the second try.

As I've mentioned at various points, I update six machines monthly: two HP Elitebook laptops, two Lenovo Thinkpad x laptops, and two Lenovo S20 Thinkstations. The efforts required vary, but generally I'd say, using Bypass 11, WU alone usually gets the job done on 3-5 of them. On the others, I have to install one update or another manually. It takes a bit of time, but it's only rarely that, e.g. I have to use the security-only version.

However, I pretty much always have trouble on my main computer: one of the S20 Thinkstations. One thing that clearly distinguishes it from the others is that it has two GPUs (Matrox C420s, one with 4Gb RAM and the other with 2Gb). Furthermore, because my main monitor is a an NEC PA272w with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, I have the DPI set to 135% - otherwise the fonts are too small for my old eyes.

Is it technically possible that having two graphics cards and using a non-standard font size could possibly screw up how the Bypass works on that machine? Thanks.

I dont have two graphics cards and use standard font size. I think this is not the problem.

Sorry peter22, my question was not related to yours.

I was asking about a problem that I've been having for awhile.

Please excuse me for the confusion.

    No problem.

I hope someone has a solution to my problem.

For the first time since Feb 2020 I also had a problem installing an update "KB5003667" through WU. Tried 3 times and failed all 3. Had to download and install separately which worked fine. This happened on all three of my Win 7 laptops though on two machines after the first WU failures I installed manually.

    1. Just for fun, why not try the security only?

    2. Error code 8000FFFF
There are lots of sites that address this and offer a million solutions. I have no idea.

    3. Microsoft Security Essentials.
Can you turn it off? But anyway, you said it's always worked in the past, so this might be a waste of time.

    4. "billmcct" also mentioned he had had a problem for the very first time.

As I've mentioned, in general, most of my machines work fine with the Bypass and WU month after month.

Every once in awhile, though, something doesn't work, and I have to "scramble". My worst-case scenario, when nothing else works, is the security-only version; it's always worked. I feel confident using it, and it gets me through to the next month.

Since the very beginning of the Bypass implementation, I've never had an update installation fail two months in a row except on my machine with two graphics cards.

For now i have successfully installed the security only update. Disabling Microsoft Security Essentials unfortunately did nothing.

Can you tell me what updates have all come since the last Quality Rollup? Maybe I am really missing something.

If that update is "KB5003694" then your good to go till July patch Tuesday. I would also try to install "KB5003667" again manually just to see what happens.

Yes it was, it's just not linked.
I have run the version 21.6.10. Unfortunately I still can not install the update.
I have tried rebooting again, and I have tried WinRepair, but it did not help.

Can somebody please be kind enough to let me know where can I get Windows 7 then activate it alongside MS Word with something like KMS VL ALL but for Windows 7? Our low spec laptop just became a lagging mess with the Windows 10 update that shows temperature on the taskbar but our other desktop PCs for gaming aren't lag only the laptop. We legit can't use it since it lags so much. Just going to use the laptop for internet, typing and digital art and not update it. Windows 10 has automatic updates even if we delay them, it will eventually update. We don't even use these updates maybe for Windows Defender antivirus that's it.
