    Hello everybody,
i had to restore windows 7 ultimate from a previous image (august 2020), but unfortunately i can't install updates kb3068708, (KB5004289) and (KB5004229).
The updates kb3068708, (KB5004289) are installed, but the (KB5004229) no and when I restart the system it deletes the previous ones installed.
    What can I do?
    Thank you.

    Resolved; i reinstall kb4592510 and kb4575903, after launc BypassESU-v11!!
    But why this?

ok will give it a try and report back.

Update: Yup it is the .net 4 bypass that was causing it.

It depends if they restrict the updates by CBS packages (i.e. only Server editions), or ESU validation like Windows 7

we cannot know until they are released

I understand the June and July full Rollups exited with errors for you but you succeeded with the Secuity-only updates for the months. Now the full Rollup suddenly works again, or did you do anything else to fix your problem?

Because I'm seeing a similar problem this month:
    KB5004871 (2021-08 .NET) installed fine,
KB5005088 (2021-08 Rollup) exited with error code 8007371B when the progress bar was about to finish. Both with auto updates and manually.
WU then offered "System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based systems (KB947821) [October 2014]". That one installed/ran without issues and %windir%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log is without errors.
Manually installing KB5005089 (2021-08 Secutity-only) worked, KB5005088 still failing after that.

Looks this is not due to the bypass and more like the usual wuau-f*ck-up.

After going to the Microsoft Update Catalog, and clicking on ANY "Download" button, after the subsequent small window that opens and has the link to download the install file - clicking on it responds with NOTHING, the usual download box that shows what folder you want to download it to simply does not appear. Tried it in Opera (latest version), Chrome and IE 11...all do not work. Any ideas??

Yes, I solved my problem with the help of the sysnative forum (i can also recommend this one).
I had an error in the registry.

Unlike the last few months, all the August updates installed smoothly the very first time on my two desktops and four laptops.

As always, my most sincere thanks to the Bypass team.

And KB5005088 finally installs without error. Seems like July Rollup messed that up.

Edit Sept 21: Another similar July registry problem lurking apparently, failing September 2021 Rollup with code 8007371B again.
