My turn to jump into the BypassESU bandwagon, finally. I've installed the bypass itself, then the test update without any hitches, and then went into Windows Update to check for new stuff but none so far. Until the first batch of ESUs come up for next month, I want to ask... could I keep the bypass installed or remove it until then?
So to clarify, Install ESU V4 (located on page 1), (you don't need to uninstall V3 first or at all). ESU V4 does not allow updates via Windows Updates but rather you have to find the updates that are needed and install them manually. Is that right?
I only asked because last time, keeping the bypass on would hog up Windows Update over time to the point of not working, unless the new version had fixed this.
1)i guess the tool wil be updated with the first updates of the ESU branch? 2)The bypass will only allow to install the ESU updates, it will not permit to get the updates themselves via Windows Update--> but why??
it would be glad in some workaround in the future get the notification from windows update to install the esu updates
Working as expected : KB4528069 installing fine (wasn't yesterday with V3). Thumbs up to abbodi1406 for superfast workaround. Warmest thanks to him, cheers, Bill.
