    Thanks!
    I'll install them. :)
    Ah, I thought I read somewhere here (in the past), that WU wouldn't work at all on Embedded after the ESU patch.
    What do you mean with "no info about ESU updates"?

    Embedded 7 WU is not aware of any updates beyond 2020-01

    After installing the latest updates (ΚΒ5010451, ΚΒ5010404 and .NET 5010581), I can't check for newer updates, I get 80072EE2, either with BypassESU or without it, any ideas on how to fix it? Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    No proxy, directly. DNS is CloudFlare via dnscrypt-proxy running locally

    Not sure of suppressor, but have standalone DNESU v5 (not active in case of iussues with BPESUv11. I tried that many times(install it try get update for .net but same story , when installing it fails again. I then removed that standalone DNESU v5 and tried again with just BPESU v11. Unsure what is new this time. Use Webroot av(never had any issues with ESU updates). Grateful for any tips

    Thanks very much ExtremeG , reinstall success, did not have to use standalone DNESU at all, just BPESUv11. Extremely Joyful now <grin>

    Thanks abbodi1406 and co for this fantastic tool. The WU bypass worked perfectly for me.

    However, I noticed an issue with the .NET 4 bypass in BypassESU-v11. I have some CS6 applications installed on my machines, including Photoshop. When the .NET 4 bypass is active, the 64 bit version of Photoshop is unable to start. Before the splash even shows, it gives a cryptic "The system cannot find the file specified" error message and immediately terminates. With windbg and procmon and I can see that 64 bit Photoshop loads its 64 bit AdobeLinguistic.dll immediately before it throws the error, but that's it. No other clues. Interestingly, only 64 bit Photoshop is affected. The 32 bit version of Photoshop with its 32 bit AdobeLinguistic.dll runs just fine when the .NET 4 bypass is enabled. Simply disabling the .NET 4 bypass resolves the issue and 64 bit Photoshop is able to run correctly again (no restart needed).

    I know it has been reported that the .NET 4 bypass causes issues with msiexec. Perhaps this issue with Photoshop CS6 64 bit is related? I also apologize if someone else has already reported this. This 311 page thread is just too long to read in its entirety.

    @zyoops
    It is already replaced with 2022-02 Monthly Rollup, but Microsoft forgot to update the metadata
    you can hide it

    ---

    @FuzzleSnuz
    .NET 4 bypass in BypassESU-v9 cause issues with msiexec

    .NET 4 bypass in BypassESU-v11 cause issue with some (or many) programs that have internal manifest, but still require external manifest
    this is effect of PreferExternalManifest registry value

    so the safe route is to remove .NET 4 bypass after installing .NET 4.x updates

    4th year ESU only for Windows Server VMs running in Azure, sorry. You won't get them on Win7 at your home.
